- Understanding, keeping abreast of, and applying industry-standard best practices to speech application development and voice user interface design
- Documenting voice applications and VUI-development procedures, including storyboards, requirements documents, and specifications
- Extensive experience with software product documentation and training material development.
- Strong Microsoft Office and FrameMaker+SGML/XML experience.
- Experience with XML and VoiceXML
- Converting text and Web-based interfaces, services, and materials and those to well-designed voice dialogues, preserving interface symmetry.
- Strong user-interface skills.
- Writing for cognition and aural processing
- Technical writing and documentation
- Voice talent (coaching voice talent serving as an experienced voice actor)
